Bringing Digitalisation to the Healthcare System

The Digital Medicine Conference (DMC) 2021 is a two-day event organised by the health innovation hub (hih) – the think tank of the german Federal Ministry of Health.

The event, which was hosted at the Berlin bcc (2 – 3 November), focused on discussions around the future topics of digitalised medicine, such as the Hospital Futures Act (Krankenhauszukunftsgesetz), the current level of digital maturity of everyday clinical practice, digital health applications (DiGA) and general opportunities for improvement in health care and nursing.

The aim was to unblock the Gematik and to bring and anchor innovations in the German (healthcare) system in order to steer the unstoppable digitalisation in a sensible direction. Above all, patients and doctors should feel positive effects and changes and at the same time give Germany a jump start in the international digitalisation race.

UseTree delivered the corporate design of the DMC, the logo and the website, and gave the event a face with a clear and uniform design language. For the venue itself, UseTree designed banners, stage and co and contributed to a well-rounded event atmosphere with the event design. Through the cooperation between UseTree and the hih since its foundation in 2019, attention was paid to the recognition value of the CD, which was also designed by UseTree.
