Health Innovation Hub

Starting position

The Health Innovation Hub (HIH) was established as a central platform for digital health solutions. The aim of the hub is to bring together actors from health, technology and politics and to promote dialogue around digital innovations in healthcare.

This claim should also be reflected in the external appearance. There was a lack of a consistent visual presence that provides orientation, creates trust and makes the role of HIH as a mediating body clearly visible — across digital channels, events and spaces.

Approach

UseTree developed a holistic design and communication concept together with HIH. The starting point was the question of how health, technology and political dialogue can be combined in a common visual language.

The focus was on clarity, recognizability and consistency. For this purpose, basic design elements were defined and prepared for different contexts of use — digital, analog and spatial.

Solution

The result is a comprehensive, cross-media design system. It comprises logo and lettering, color scheme, design grid, visual language and illustrations. In addition, office stationery and templates for PowerPoint and Word were created, which consistently convey the appearance in everyday working life.

UseTree also designed and maintained the webpage from HIH as a WordPress solution. It acted as a central platform for content, projects and information and was continuously developed.

An essential part of the collaboration was the organization and support of HIH events. UseTree developed visual concepts and supported the design of event formats, including conferences such as the Digital Medicine Conference. Design, spatial effect and content intertwined and consistently transferred the visual identity of HIH into the event space.

A complementary interior concept ensured that the appearance was also reflected in rooms, on walls and in shop windows and that the HIH could be experienced as a physical place.

Impact

The Health Innovation Hub has a consistent presence across all points of contact — digital, analog and in space. Brand, website and events are intertwined and convey a coherent overall picture.

The visual identity makes HIH clearly recognizable as a central platform for digital health innovation. The website and means of communication provide orientation and support professional exchange. The designed event formats, including conferences such as the Digital Medicine Conference, transfer this claim into physical space and make dialogue and networking tangible.

The website thus combines health, technology and political discourse in a clear, recognizable design and strengthens the role of HIH as a mediator in the digital health ecosystem.
